$115.00
The Cardiac Health Panel is a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate various aspects of your cardiovascular health. The heart health panel includes the following tests:
Total Cholesterol *– Measures all the cholesterol in the blood. Elevated levels are a risk factor for heart disease.
Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) Cholesterol* – Often referred to as “bad” cholesterol. High levels of LDL can lead to plaque buildup in arteries, increasing the risk of a heart attack and stroke.
High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) Cholesterol* – Known as “good” cholesterol. Higher HDL levels are generally associated with a lower risk of heart disease.
High-sensitivity C-Reactive Protein – The C-reactive protein is a marker of inflammation in the body. This high-sensitivity test can detect lower levels of CRP. Elevated levels are associated with higher risk of heart attacks and stroke.
Hemoglobin A1c: Measures the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the past three (3) months. Higher levels indicate poor sugar control and an increased risk of diabetes complications and heart disease.
Homocysteine: is a test that measures the levels of homocysteine in the blood, an amino acid. Elevated levels have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease, stroke and peripheral vascular disease.
